Position Overview for North Carolina Governor's Internship program

Are you outgoing and customer-focused? Do you enjoy working with the public? If you answered yes to these questions,, a successful State Farm Agent wants you to join their winning team for the role of Summer Intern. Per program requirements the candidate must be a qualified rising Junior or Senior at a participating HBCU located in North Carolina and must be available locally during the summer.  

Responsibilities

  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Assist Agent with local volunteer and community engagements
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Help formulate and participate in marketing strategies and tactics.

Requirements

  • Must be a rising college Junior or Senior at a North Carolina college
  • Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
